Welcome to “Ask Chazz,” where I answer questions about anything and everything related to the 4th Stage. This week’s question: “Is it possible to begin a new Stage 4 with a woman from a past relationship?”
Before I answer, let’s define “past relationship:” You competed Stage’s 1-3, and spent time in Stage 4 before ending the relationship.
Based on this definition, the answer is simple: NO, you can’t start a new Stage 4 with the same woman. You can restart, refresh or reset the relationship, but it will NEVER be new again.
So, why is this important to know? Because, given our mission (The 4th Stage Mission), it’s critically important to understand that the only thing that would change since the breakup is…nothing.
Think about it, other than the effect of time passing (which, by the way, tends to remove bad memories), why would anyone believe that jumping back into a past relationship be a good thing? Other than the possibility of temporarily enjoying Stage 3, all the “#?%&*!” that caused the breakup is still there! Believe me, nothing has changed.
The great thing about experiencing the 4 Stages of relationships is the newness of every stage. It’s like getting in a brand new car and going on a test drive. The smell, the feel, the handling, the speed…it’s ALWAYS amazing!
So, before you buy (again) that used car you sold (remember why you sold it?), think long and hard about what it will cost – literally AND figuratively!
